YOUR EMPLOYMENT SERVICES HUB

Beacon is a new* 501c3 non-profit organization that identifies and eliminates barriers to economic mobility through job skill and equipment training, job placement, and the integration and scaling of support services such as housing, identification, clothing and transportation.


As a fair chance employment service hub, Beacon partners with several local organizations and government agencies to source the information and resources needed to get and keep gainful employment. This connected support empowers employees to rebuild their lives and re-engage with the community through meaningful employment.

Beacon serves individuals who face challenges to securing stable employment. These challenges may include past experience with the justice system, substance use, homelessness or other life-altering circumstances.

VISION

Beacon seeks to: 

  • Address critical physical needs that are obstacles to gainful employment

  • Reduce the negative impact of recidivism

  • Shift perception about employing individuals with justice history, substance use and experience with homelessness

  • Prepare workforce for careers in custodial services and commercial maintenance 

  • Positively contribute to the economic vitality of our community through workforce development and job placement
